Профессиональное развитие преподавателя иностранного языка в техническом вузе

Abstract

В данной статье рассматриваются вопросы профессионального развития преподавателя высшей школы, в частности, технического вуза. Помимо традиционных форм (портфолио, семинары, преподавание в команде и др.) особое внимание уделяется направлениям, характерным для развития преподавателя иностранного языка технического вуза, а именно использование тезауруса, денотатных карт, параллельных текстов, участие в международных школах по техническим дисциплинам, обучение на дистанционных курсах онлайн-образования.

The article deals with current approaches to professional development of higher school teachers of foreign languages, at technical universities in particular. Some conventional approaches are presented but special attention is given to the approaches that are peculiar for the development of foreign language teachers of engineering universities, such as use of technical terms, denotative schemes, parallel texts, participation in international schools dealing with technical issues, online training.
