Abstract

This article analyzes the energy security as a factor of international development. In the modern world, energy resources are of great importance to improve the quality of life of citizens, and expand opportunities for all countries, both developed and developing. Currently, energy is the main and only resource that ensures the existence of civilization on the planet, and world energy needs are mainly met by oil, natural gas and coal. Rapid development of industrial industry in the twentieth century and early twenty-first century helped to build a elementary circuit components of the energy balance by increasing the production of three types of resources. But not all countries possess such natural riches, therefore, they have to import vital resources, and this in turn only increases their production and accelerates the process of exhaustion. And, unfortunately, energy resources have come to an end, and this in turn creates the energy problem and global in nature. Therefore, ensuring efficient, reliable and environmentally safe energy at prices reflecting fundamental principles of the market economy is a challenge for the whole for each state and the world community as a whole.
