Abstract

The trends of global energy development, the government subventions in the given branch in the European Union, the USA and other developed countries led to the technological breakthrough and the beginning of industrial use of alternative renewable energy for heat and electricity generation. Our country has considerable experience in use of wind power, solar energy, tidal power and geothermal energy. However at the present stage of technological development the alternative energy has positive dynamics only in «the rich» postindustrial countries. The environmental load reduction is of paramount importance in development of alternative energy.
