Abstract

Today the philosophy of culture may refer to 1. a systematic humanitarian knowledge methodology; 2. a part of cognitive process; 3. an axiology of value-based behavior and personality orientation and 4. a conceptual world outlook universal as well as collective forms of human activity. Th is approach to investigate traditional culture as a pedagogical system will provide benefi ts for educational practice. Th is approach can be implemented on the basis of ethnocultural education standard and requirements as expressed in student social and sociocultural competency. Th e innovative character of the standard as a pedagogical model lies in treating a cultural tradition as an innovation, as part of a cultural system that nay become the building block of future pedagogical sociocultural systems and social relations leading to the stable development of our society.
