The article substantiates the necessity of the introduction of a course of Russian studies into the list of compulsory education subjects for the third and fourth-year students in order that young people have conscious studies of the history of their country and training in patriotism.

В статье обосновывается необходимость введения в список обязательных учебных дисциплин курс «Россиеведение» для студентов третьего и четвертого курсов — для осознанного изучения истории своей страны молодежью, воспитания ее патриотизма.
