Abstract

The analytical discourse about the inequality of educational opportunities of migrants in comparison with locals in Germany finds out the insufficiency of the resource approach, according to which the educational mobility of young people depends on individual educational success and motivation, education and on the educational role of parents. Institutional approach reveals practices of discrimination of migrants in German system of education and defines tools to eliminate them.
