Присоединение России к WorldSkills International

Abstract

The article describes the history and activities of the WorldSkills International – a mighty and dedicated organisation fostering vocational education and training worldwide by sharing information, experience and expertise and holding international and national skills competitions that aim at enhancing in the youth the spirit of competitiveness and motivation to excel in the chosen occupation. The article also informs of a new development, highly important on the national level, namely about Russia’s joining this organisation. The Russian team will participate in the competitions in 2013, and preparations are under way, with prospective sites selected to train the future national team.

Статья посвящена истории и деятельности WorldSkills International – влиятельной международной организации, которая занимается продвижением и развитием профессионального образования и обучением посредством обмена опытом и практикой и организацией международных и национальных соревнований профессионального мастерства в целях повышения мотивации молодежи к участию в профессиональном образовании и содействия развитию состязательности и соревновательности молодых профессионалов. В статье также содержится информация о присоединении России к этой организации и о подготовке национальной команды к соревнованиям 2013 г.
