Abstract

B статье характеризуются современные тенденции в реформировании высшего образования и требования, предъявляемые к выпускникам вуза в новом образовательном контексте, делается вывод о необходимости ориентации процесса обучения иностранным языкам в соответствии с современными педагогическими и методическими принципами обучения, приводятся примеры работы с учебным пособием, построенным на этих принципах.

The paper discusses ways to reform Higher Education in Russia. It is stressed that if we aim to realize the new requirements to university graduates which have appeared of recently in the new educational context, it is necessary to rely on the modern general pedagogical and subject-specific principles of teaching English. A number of examples are given to illustrate the points discussed.
