
Some questions of the organization of foreign language teaching material (English and German) for the correspondence mode of study with reduced period of training in higher education are considered. The use of quantitative methods for the selection of lexical and grammatical material is offered. The expediency of using statistical methods in the study of language phenomena is explained.
Рассматриваются вопросы организации учебного материала по иностранным языкам (английскому и немецкому) при сокращенной форме обучения в системе высшего образования. Предложено использование квантитативных методов для отбора лексического и грамматического материала. Объяснена целесообразность использования статистической методики при исследовании языковых явлений.
