Abstract

The data on the Ilya river fish food (Zabaikalye region) are given for the first time in the article. 6 groups among which benthophages and predators prevail are singled out. It is determined that benthic organisms and invaluable fish species make the Ilya river the base for fish nutrition. The larvae of chironomids, stone flies and day flies are of main food value. The fish of predatory food type use the same fish species but in a different parity. Such species as the Amur ich, the Amur minnow and common minnow are mainly consumed.
