This article deals with the problem of formation of professional and creative competence of students of a technical institute in the course of research activities. Particular emphasis is focused on the concepts of "research activity" and "research activities of students" and on identification of species and forms of scientific and research activity of students of a technical college. The research is based on the analysis of the scientific literature and allows establishing the relationship of research and creative activity. In conclusion, the author discloses the correspondence of organizational forms of research activities with forms of the creative professional competence of students of a technical institute. The experimental work is conducted in 20112013 in Penza State Technological University. The results of the experiment serve evidence of the increase of effectiveness of forming of professional and creative competences of students.

В данной статье рассматривается проблема формирования профессионально-творческих компетенций студентов технического вуза в процессе научно-исследовательской деятельности. Особое внимание уделено характеристике понятий «научно-исследовательская деятельность», «научно-исследовательская деятельность студентов», выявлению видов и форм научно-исследовательской деятельности студентов технического вуза. На основании анализа научной литературы устанавливается взаимосвязь исследовательской и творческой деятельности. В заключение раскрывается соответствие организационных форм научно-исследовательской деятельности формируемым профессионально-творческим компетенциям студентов технического вуза.
