Abstract

This paper contains research of migration tenets of Chinese students concerning Russia. There were interviewed about 400 Chinese students studying Russian philology orand linguistics in China, and Chinese students studying in Russian university. Results of the study are correlated with researches of V. Gelbras and A. Larin, conducted in 2002 and 2007 respectively. The results show that the majority of respondents are planning to connect their business activities in the future with Russia, but would prefer to live in China or any other country. According to the results of the research, we can conclude that Russia is not a country of the preferred choice of residence for the academically trained Chinese.
