Abstract

The paper investigates the role of a higher educational institution in the real economy of Russia. The objects of research are institutions of innovation economy development, classification of their types, the results of the higher education modernization in Russia and diversification of universities as subjects of economic space. The purpose of research is to show whether the role of higher educational institutions in Russia can be enhanced to support innovation processes in the crisis period. The possible involvement of universities in all processes of the innovation chain characterized by the term «innovation lift» is considered.The paper analyzes separate stages of the continuous innovation cycle in the framework of a single set of measures covering the educational, scientific, technological, organizational, financial, investment, production and marketing spheres.The stages of the higher school modernization over the period of 2009 to 2015 and the state of the university science in terms of its impact on innovation processes in the Russian economy are considered.It is concluded that involvement of higher education institutions in the economy as universal development institutions providing intellectual support of the innovation activity has wide opportunities. The necessity of a substantial intensification of innovation activities of universities during the crisis in Russia is highlighted.

В статье излагаются результаты исследования современной роли вуза в реальной экономике России. Объектами исследования стали институты развития инновационной экономики, классификация их типов, результаты модернизации высшей школы России и диверсификация деятельности вузов как субъектов экономического пространства. Цель работы показать возможности повышения роли вузов России в поддержке инновационных процессов в кризисный период. Рассмотрены возможности участия вузов во всех процессах инновационной цепочки, характеризуемых термином «инновационный лифт». В статье рассмотрены отдельные этапы непрерывного инновационного цикла в рамках единого комплекса мероприятий, затрагивающего образовательную, научную, научно-технологическую, организационную, финансовую, инвестиционную, производственную и маркетинговую сферы. Рассмотрены этапы модернизации высшей школы в период с 2009 по 2015 г. и состояние вузовской науки в аспекте ее влияния на инновационные процессы в экономике России. Сделан вывод о широком диапазоне возможностей присутствия вузов в экономике в качестве универсальных институтов развития в сфере интеллектуальной поддержки инновационной деятельности. Отмечена необходимость существенной интенсификации инновационной деятельности вузов в кризисный период, переживаемый Россией.
