Abstract

The paper provides a rationale for the balance of goals in the contents of adult education, mediated by contemporary challenges; demands for the corresponding rethinking of educational programs are stated. In this aspect the significant opportunities in the field of non-formal education, the potential of its programs to respond to the current challenges, especially for achieving the objectives of sustainable development are analyzed

В статье приводится обоснование сбалансированности целей в содержании образования взрослых, опосредованных современными вызовами; формулируются требования к соответствующему переосмыслению образовательных программ. В этом аспекте анализируются существенные возможности в области неформального образования, потенциал его программ для ответа на существующие вызовы, прежде всего для достижения целей устойчивого развития.
