Роль международной деятельности в формировании бренда вуза: опыт факультета мировой экономики и государственного управления Байкальского государственного университета экономики и права

Abstract

In the context of higher schools internationalization the university competitiveness growth is unachievable without building a strong university brand. The university involvement in international activities is considered as one of the factors influencing this process. The university international activities are traditionally carried out in the following areas: educational process organization with foreign teachers involvement; international conferences, symposia, seminars and forums organization; grant programs participation. Such areas as academic mobility, educational services export along with dual degree programs have been actively developing recently. In this regard, the article is intended to clarify how these areas are implemented in one structural division of Baikal State University of Economics and Law, namely, at the Faculty of World Economy and Public Administration. The ways of the university international activities further development are offered.

В условиях интернационализации высшей школы повышение конкурентоспособности вуза невозможно без создания сильного бренда. Одним из факторов, влияющих на данный процесс, является включенность университета в международную деятельность. Традиционно международная деятельность вуза осуществляется по направлениям: организация учебного процесса с привлечением преподавателей из-за рубежа; организация международных конференций, симпозиумов, семинаров, форумов; участие в грантовых программах. В последние годы активно развиваются академическая мобильность, экспорт образовательных услуг, а также программы двойного дипломирования. В статье говорится о том, каким образом данные направления реализуются в одном из структурных подразделений Байкальского государственного университета экономики и права на факультете мировой экономики и государственного управления. Предлагаются пути дальнейшего совершенствования международной деятельности вуза.
