Abstract

The article reflects the urgency of the development of the new methodology of the cognitive activity of the students of the physical culture VUZ (Institute of Higher Education). All development stages for this methodology, consisting from two parts, have been reflected herein. The procedure of the methodology formation has been revealed: the selection of its signs and markers (where their composition and qualitative characteristics are revealed); the procedure of the determination of their diagnostic value; the methodology itself is stated too. Furthermore, the article shows the procedure for the calculation of reliability and validity of the developed methodology. And finally, the article reflects the results of the selection of signs and markers of the cognitive activity of the students of VUZ (Institute of Higher Education) of physical culture, and also the results of calculating the reliability of the validity of methodology.
