Abstract

This article continues the analysis begun in the publication “Science and Education in Russian Macro — and Microcoordinates” (in the previous issue of the journal — t. 4, № 2). The first work represented a modern Russian situation in science and education at two levels at macroand meso-levels and was based on the analysis of strategic documents, practical macro-initiatives of the state, results of researches, and a high school discourse on pages of magazines. In principle we revealed quite iridescent rhetoric the purposes especially high, all tasks essentially solved. In second publication the analysis of the situation will be presented at micro-level, namely on the level of the situation perception by final subjects of educational process by students. This research is based on reflexive survey of students of four strongest technical universities of St. Petersburg with perspective specialties (information and laser technologies). Respondents in their answering formulate own judgments and estimates. Students had high motivation for choice of their higher education institution and specialty and as a whole haven’t disappointed in their decision to this time. However students are ready to move more dynamically in their training and specialty development and that why in reflexive surveys they name a mass of critical and useful evaluations of rather different aspects which are slowing down process of training. In their judgments are stressed insufficiency of practice and absence of acquaintances to the concrete enterprises, a lack of training in applied skills, overload by minor courses, but thus lack of a number of the urgent and modern disciplines, as a result non receipt of complete specialty as such, low appeal of work prospects in Russian systems of science and education, as a result orientation of the most students to work in foreign campaigns or abroad.
