Abstract

The levitation assembly of cargo transport platform is considered as a cage asynchronous motor of reversed type. On-board magnetic system is a stator winding with definite poles. Rotor squirrel-cage winding is a control track winding Gramme coil, squirrel cage, solid or perforate reactive rail. Theory fundamentals and calculation equations, developed for cage asynchronous motor, are adopted for levitation assembly operation description. Based on the comparative analysis of electromagnetic processes, good practices for performing the levitation control tracks and side stabilization by traversal Gramme windings or by distributed squirrel cages are suggested.
