Abstract

In recent years, the science of sociology has been becoming more and more topical. This is due to the arrival of the epoch of global shifts which influence the whole world community and manifest themselves in various spheres of life activity of both separate individuals and modern civilization as a whole. As a result, the significance of teaching sociological disciplines at various levels of education is increasing. The article discusses the problem of methodological arsenal of present-day sociology, including the Russian one. In modern conditions, when sociology is represented by multiple paradigms, and its methodological instruments are changing constantly, educators are largely responsible for transforming it into an academic discipline. Workers of higher education are posed with a challenging and important task. It is necessary to teach future specialists to use sociological data in their professional sphere.
