Abstract

The new socio-cultural level of society development, informatization of all spheres of social relations and serious socio-economic changes set another direction in the development of personality of a new generation and therefore the problem of personal identity, especially during adolescence is becoming more urgent. Taking into account the complexity and contradictoriness of identity crisis, it is worth identifying and clarifying the factors determining and defining the content of this crisis at the present stage of development of a personality. This work discusses the features of studying personality identity, describes the aspect of motivational determination, presents the results of the pilot study of the interaction of the motivational profile and components of personal identity of modern teenagers.
