Reflected the main contribution of the Far East ornithologists in the context of obtaining the original results of research avifauna including the results of their international activity for the last half a century. The study of birds by large regions are highly significant, remain particularly important in terms of increasing human development and global climate changes.

Отражен вклад дальневосточных орнитологов в изучение авифауны региона, в том числе результаты их международной деятельности в последние полвека. Отмечено, что вопросы изучения птиц по крупным ре- гионам особенно актуальны в условиях усиливающегося антропогенного освоения и глобальных климатических перемен.
