Abstract

The article carries out a comparative analysis of the students'' motivation for effective learning in a higher school as viewed by students and teachers. The analysis is realized by comparing the results of the scientific investigations and the inquiry of university teachers and students that showed some differences of opinions, which may hinder the learning process. The research results can be applied in the learning process in a university, and in the formation of teachers' and educators' work in educational institutions.
