Abstract

The study is designed to identify the main vectors of the concept Health modeling in the Soviet discursive practice based on the material of the newspapers «Komsomolskaya Pravda» and «Vechernij Sverdlovsk» published in 1978 and 1980. The cognitive classification features of the concept were chosen on the lexical compatibility basis. The analysis of the textual materials of 1980 showed that in the Soviet era the Olympic Games became a stimulus for the propagation of the healthy lifestyle. A number of collocations related to “sovietisms” were identified: Physical education and sport, All-Union health resort, etc.
