Рассматриваются экологические аспекты таможенного регулирования в странах АСЕАН: защита видов животных и растений, находящихся под угрозой исчезновения, сохранение биологического разнообразия и охрана окружающей природной среды от загрязнения. показано: пресечение незаконного перемещения через таможенную границу объектов дикой флоры и фауны, опасных отходов производства и потребления - одно из основных направлений деятельности таможенных органов.

The paper discusses the environmental aspects of the customs regulations in the ASEAN: protection of animal and plant species under threat of extinction, conservation of biodiversity and environmental protection. The priority activities of the customs authorities include the prevention of the illegal movement of the species of wild flora and fauna and hazardous waste of production and consumption across the customs border.
