Discusses various forms of organization of research work of first year students at the Department of inorganic chemistry, Pyatigorsk Medical-Pharmaceutical Institute – branch of the state Government-Funded Educational Institution of Higher Professional Training "Volgograd state medical university" of the Ministry for Public Health of the Russian Federation. Are the objectives of research work of students. Discusses the motives of the research activity of students. For first-year students the opportunity to participate in experimental research work is limited by the lack of practical skills, so at this stage, the more urgent is the development of students of different tools and systems of scientific and technical information, skills, literature search literature, learning the basics of independent work, etc. One of the forms of scientific-research work of students, carried out in school time, is the implementation of the teaching and research work of students. Scientific-research work of students of the first course to be performed outside of school hours, are realized through their participation in the preparation of scientific papers on a given topic, the student scientific society, student conferences and chemistry Olympiad.

Рассматриваются различные формы организации научно-исследовательской работы студентов I курса на кафедре неорганической химии Пятигорского медико-фармацевтического института – филиала ГБОУ ВПО «ВолгГМУ» Минздрава России. Приводятся цели развития системы научно-исследовательской работы студентов. Обсуждаются мотивы научно-исследовательской деятельности студентов. Для студентов I курса возможности участия в экспериментальной научно-исследовательской работе ограничены отсутствием практических навыков, поэтому на данном этапе более актуальным является освоение студентами различных средств и систем научно-технической информации, навыков работы с литературой, поиска литературных источников, обучение основам самостоятельной работы и пр. Одной из форм научно-исследовательской работы студентов, осуществляемой в учебное время, является выполнение учебно-исследовательских работ студентов. Научно-исследовательская работа студентов I курса, выполняемая во внеучебное время, реализуется путём их участия в подготовке научных рефератов на заданные темы, в работе студенческого научного общества, в студенческих научных конференциях и олимпиаде по химии.
