Abstract

Modern wind turbines can be structurally divided into two groups: the horizontal-axis and a vertical axis of ro-tation. The world first got widespread. At present, Russia produced only a small wind power capacity, so in our country has adopted a focus on the use of wind turbines of medium and high power produced by foreign firms. The article deals with the general problem of wind energy development in Russia, in particular the use of wind power plants on the basis of asynchronous electric cars as one of the most promising. The problems of mathe-matical modeling of wind turbines. Results of computer research modes wind turbines with asynchronous ma-chines and compared with experimental results modes asynchronous generator in different operation modes.
