
The article considers some of the issues related to researching the periodization of the history of sociology of education. The author’s conception of stages of the development of the said sociological discipline is built upon pointing out to key names and approaches. A conclusion is made on the importance of researching the practices of lifelong and supplementary professional education for the contemporary phase of the development of sociology of education.
В статье рассмотрены некоторые из проблемных моментов, связанных с разработкой вопросов периодизации истории социологии образования. Посредством обращения к ключевым именам и подходам выстроена авторская концепция стадий развития данной социологической дисциплины. Сделан вывод о значении изучения практик непрерывного и дополнительного профессионального образования для современного этапа развития социологии образования.
