Kinematogrāfiskā maldināšana un naratīva metalepse Kristofera Nolana filmās „Starp zvaigznēm”, „Pirmsākums” un „Ilūzija”

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out how cinematic deception in Christopher Nolan’s films is constructed and what kind of film language elements are used to create narrative metalepsis. The issue describes the theoretical aspects of time sequence, deception, narrative and semiotics, as well as narrative and semiotic analysis. The research results revealed that deception promotes film narrative structure, information hiding, characters-forgers and the time sequence changes. Metalepsis causes montage, realistic use of camera and characters simultaneous existence in multiple dimensions. The author’s style elements can also be considered as dark colors of the image, music and sound production, female character features, as well as the use of certain actors in films.
