The article talks about regulation and disciplinasation in Belgorod diocese in 20-60 years XVIII century and educational problems in the diocese. Belgorod diocese stood on the “frontier” in 1667 and had kind of a separation of the “Ukrainian” and “Russian”. The separation of the Diocese of Kiev Metropolitan for common religious traditions was political. Basics of the arrangement of the Church in Belgorod Diocese were reform of the Bishop Epyphaniy Tykhorski. Among these reforms was the creation of the diocese at the center of the educational institution Collegium. Tykhorski in 1726 moved Collegium to the Ukrainian Kharkov not the Bishop centre. Bishop contributed to the formation of the library and links students to study abroad. Type of College involved access to learning the various layers of a priority of children of priests. Further streamlining and reforming religious practices displayed education. By Bishop Peter Smilych (30-years XVIII cent.) in Collegium introduced the study of secular disciplines (mathematics and new foreign languages), made attempts to open a school in the “Russian part” of the diocese. Bishop Ioasaf Horlenko (1748-1754) sought to increase the educational level of the priests with the involvement of the children forced to study. Bishop Ioasaf Mitkevich tried to open schools in church regiments. All of these efforts to limit access to education representatives of the prerogatives of the Church. The imperial policy at the same time was sailing in local church life. Veneration of icons of the Okchtyrka’s Mother of God was imperial innovation. Imperial officials have donated heavily to the local church. Such gradual successes “confesionalisation” and a lack of secular education “put under the blow” of Collegium’s education on the territory of useable for the Imperial experiments. The germs of future secular processes well displayed on these controversial areas of 20 - beg. the 60-s XVIII century.
