Abstract

In the modern world, the problem of insufficient volume of food in retail chains and the opportunity provided by the state to purchase food to the population is becoming acute, which is confirmed by the slow growth rate of real incomes of citizens – by 2.1 % over 5 years. At the same time, food inflation in 2022 amounted to 10.29 %. The analysis examined the threats to agricultural production and highlighted the possible negative consequences of their implementation for humans. As a result of the study, unique proprietary innovative measures were proposed that will increase productivity, increase the competitiveness of the Russian agro-industrial complex and the level of food security
