The project-driven approach becomes more and more important way in achie- ving operational and strategic objectives and the manner of the general improvement of the enterprise performance, including the field of innovation management. The paper pre- sents the idea of "innovation project machine". The aim of the paper is to verify the pro- ject-driven approach in the process of creating innovative solutions. The arguments pre- sented in the article show that these two ways of working can be combined into an "inno- vation project machine" The „innovation project machine" can capture new ideas more ef- fectively and execute innovation, inspired by agile project management and with learning for managers. The integration of project-driven approach with the processes of innovation is a postulate that can serve proper implementation of the business strategy in enterprises, including Polish enterprises.
