Abstract

Der vorliegende Band präsentiert eine Auswahl von innovativen Forschungsarbeiten zum Kommunaldolmetschen bzw. Community Interpreting. Die Beiträge präsentieren Forschungsergebnisse vorwiegend empirischer Studien. Sie liefern interessante Einblicke in dieses vielschichtige Forschungsfeld ebenso wie in unterschiedliche Handlungsfelder des Kommunaldolmetschens in der Praxis. Die Themen der Beiträge, die vom Dolmetschen in der Medizin und Psychotherapie über das Gebärdensprachdolmetschen bis zum Gerichtsdolmetschen reichen, skizzieren aktuelle Problemfelder und zeigen einmal mehr, dass das Kommunaldolmetschen auch in Zukunft einen wichtigen und thematisch reichen Objektbereich der translationswissenschaftlichen Forschung darstellen wird.
