
Transformation processes are taking place in the modern Vietnamese society associated with the development of virtual space and the emergence of electronic newspapers and magazines. This transformation also affects the youth audience, more receptive to everything new. Due to the fact that electronic publications have a greater impact on the youth audience than traditional newspapers and magazines, their advantages and disadvantages, as well as prospects for development, are considered. The author studies the most popular online publications in Vietnam - Vietnamnet, Vnexpress, 24h.com, Thanhnien.com.vn, Tuoitre.com. The paper analyzes their content in terms of significance for the youth audience.
