Abstract

Мировые рейтинги университетов оказывают сегодня определяющее воздействие на академическую политику государств. Между тем они оценивают лишь отдельные университеты, а не качество высшего образования в той или иной стране в целом. Кроме того, они ранжируют университеты главным образом на основании их исследовательской деятельности, и по преимуществу в естественных науках. Поскольку эти рейтинги предоставляют лишь частичную информацию о национальных академических системах, выдвигается задача разработать альтернативные инструменты их оценки и сопоставления. Таковым является анализируемый в данной статье индекс академического развития, разработанный профессором Аланом Рено (университет Париж IV Сорбонна).
