ESSENTIAL FEATURE OF CATEGORY «VALUE-SEMANTIC ORIENTATIONS OF FUTURE EDUCATORS»

Abstract

The urgency of the problem is due to the socio-political transformations that occur in modern Ukrainian society, the displacement of value vectors in the direction of the material, which has negatively affects to the level of formation of the spiritual culture of the nation. This problem is especially acute when it comes to future educators, who later transmit their own value system to children. Based on this, the purpose of the article is to determine the essence of the category «value-semantic orientations of future educators», its place among the basic concepts of pedagogical axiology. Among the main research methods are theoretical, namely: analysis of reference, scientific literature, synthesis, classification, generalization. It is proved, that value-semantic orientations are always conscious, internalized values; are formed in the process of activity and have a semantic context for a person. It was determined that the value-semantic orientations of future educators are psychological growth of personality, a persistent focus on those or other professional goals that have a semantic meaning for a student and on certain means of achieving such goals. It is proved that value-semantic orientations can be formed in the process of socialization in the conditions of a higher education institution subject to the creation of a special pedagogical system. The problem of forming the value-semantic orientations of future educators is not limited to the definition of the leading categories, therefore, the prospects for further research are seen in the development of a special system that will effectively form the identified orientations and educational process of institutions of higher education.
