From the introduction: The real Koebe principle, providing estimates on the first derivative of iterates of a smooth interval map, plays a very important role in recent research of one-dimensional dynamics. Considering its complex counterpart, the (complex) Koebe distortion theorem, it is natural to look for a \(C^k\), \(k\geq 2\), version of this principle. This is the goal of this paper.
