
Cet essai présente un bref aperçu conceptuel de la relation entre la déconstruction et le design graphique, afin d'indiquer comment la culture se révèle comme une redéconstruction visuelle. En utilisant comme références principales Jacques Derrida, Ellen Lupton et Abbott Miller, je commence par présenter la question et je souligne, en arrière-plan, la tradition formaliste moderne dans le design graphique. Ensuite, je décris comment la déconstruction était une notion clé pour la critique postmoderne et je termine en soulignant le rôle de la déconstruction visuelle dans la culture.
Este ensayo presenta una breve visión conceptual sobre la relación entre la deconstrucción y el diseño gráfico, con el fin de indicar cómo la cultura se revela como una redeconstrucción visual. Utilizando como principales referencias a Jacques Derrida, Ellen Lupton y Abbott Miller, comienzo presentando la pregunta y esbozo, como fondo, la tradición moderno-formalista en el diseño gráfico. Luego describo cómo la deconstrucción fue una noción clave para la crítica posmoderna y termino señalando el papel de la deconstrucción visual en la cultura.
This essay presents a brief conceptual overview about the relationship between deconstruction and graphic design, in order to indicate how the culture reveals itself as a visual redeconstruction.Using as main references Jacques Derrida, Ellen Lupton and Abbott Miller, I begin by presenting the question and I outline, as a background, the modern-formalist tradition in graphic design.Then I describe how deconstruction was a key notion for the postmodern criticism and I end by pointing out the role of visual deconstruction in culture.
