Abstract

IntroductionCette étude visait à analyser la contribution du Master « Ingénierie de la santé » parcours « Ingénierie de la rééducation du handicap et de la performance motrice » (IRHPM) à l’évolution professionnelle des masseurs-kinésithérapeutes.MéthodeUn questionnaire a été diffusé par e-mail entre janvier et février 2023 aux anciens étudiants du Master. Construit chronologiquement, le questionnaire couvrait le cursus académique, la carrière professionnelle et les compétences développées. Les résultats ont été analysés en prenant en compte la refonte de la maquette effectuée en 2018.RésultatsAprès le Master, les diplômés ont déclaré une augmentation des activités d’enseignement (+20 %), de recherche (+15 %) et de management (+5 %). Le Master favorisait l’évolution des pratiques professionnelles, avec peu d’impact sur le salaire. Une augmentation significative des compétences d’analyse critique a été mesurée chez les personnes diplômées après 2018.DiscussionCes résultats suggèrent que les compétences acquises, qui mêlent connaissances académiques et cliniques, permettent d’évoluer dans l’enseignement, la recherche et le management. Le Master a aidé les masseurs-kinésithérapeutes à développer une approche basée sur des preuves scientifiques tout en diversifiant les parcours professionnels.

IntroductionThis study analyzes the contribution of the Master of Health Engineering, « Ingénierie de la rééducation du handicap et de la performance motrice » (IRHPM) track, to the professional development of physiotherapists.MethodA questionnaire was distributed via email between January and February 2023 to alumni of the Master's program. Chronologically constructed, the questionnaire covered academic curriculum, professional career, and developed skills. The results were statistically analyzed, taking into account the curriculum redesign in 2018.ResultsAfter completing the Master's program, graduates reported an increase in teaching activities (+20%), research (+15%), and management (+5%). The Master's program promoted the evolution of professional practices, with little impact on salary. A significant increase in critical analysis skills was measured for graduates after 2018.DiscussionThe acquired skills, combining academic knowledge and clinical competencies, enable advancement in teaching, research, and management. The Master's program has helped physiotherapists develop an evidence-based approach while diversifying professional pathways.
