WAYS TO IMPROVE SYSTEMS OF WATER HEATING SYSTEMS OF PASSENGER WAGONS

Abstract

In the article the variants of solving the scientific and applied problem are considered for improvement of carriages heating systems in order to increase their efficiency. Mathematically modeled operation of the heating system on the basis of the received data, developed proposals to improve the efficiency of the heating system. Proposed and discussed technical solutions to increase the rate of natural circulation, this makes it possible to avoid the use of a circulation pump. Increase of the heat transfer surface of the heating pipes by changing the shape of their cross section, allows to refuse the use of finned tubes, taking into account the cost and operating costs of finned pipes, use flat oval tubes economically feasible. The proposed solutions significantly simplify the design of the heating system, as well as its service in the operation of passenger cars. Applying the results of this study will improve the overall performance of the heating system and the comfort of a passenger car. The proposed technical solutions can be used not only for the construction of new wagons, but also to modernize the heating systems in the cars of the operating park under depot conditions.
