Abstract

Students with Spina Bifida present difficulties in developing their mathematical skills. The concept of Spina Bifida has been analyzed in depth in the theoretical framework, to have a first vision of what it entails. For the review, a bibliographic search was done in the scopus, Dialnet and Google Academic databases, selecting 18 articles under analysis. The results obtained have allowed to answer the objectives, obtaining information on the practical approaches in the area of mathematics with this group and analyze, thus, the effectiveness of them. In addition, in the conclusions drawn, there is a need to carry out intervention programs in mathematics, with students with Spina Bifida, from an early age and throughout life, to improve the quality of life of this group and, allowing, from the theory to improve the practice. Finally, further research is needed to improve future interventions in this area.
