Abstract

Importance. The quality of life of the population is characterized by the level of inhabitant’s needs satisfaction in the state. It follows from this defi nition that the issue of quality of life is complex, which involves the analysis of the links between psychological, economic, social, environmental and other factors. The higher education system plays a large role in improving the quality of life of the population. A significant number of publications in domestic and foreign literature have been devoted to the issue of quality of life of the population and organization of the educational process in higher education institutions in recent years. In preparation of this article, the works of domestic and foreign authors were analyzed.Objectives. The purpose of the research is to form proposals for improving the content of bachelor’s degree programs in economic sphere, considering the principles of labor organization of the teaching staff and the main trends in the development of world civilization.Methods. The research used methods of statistical analysis, as well as general scientific knowledge.Conclusions and Relevance. Scientific novelty of the article is determined primarily by the fact that the problem of quality of life is discussed from the standpoint of organization of educational process at universities with economic orientation. At the same time, the author of this article proceeds from the interrelation of principles of competence, ethics, ecology and creativity. The proposed article justifies that the introduction of an academic discipline “Quality of life of the population” complies with these principles and will encourage effective learning of basis disciplines of the curriculum: philosophy, ecology, statistics, economic theory, law, political science. The introduction of the course “Quality of life of the population” in the educational programs of bachelors of economic orientation seems to be justified from the point of view of the implementation of the principles of building the educational process and organization of work of the teaching staff, built considering the development trends of world civilization.
