
The research is a scientifically grounded idea about the peculiarities of formation of the object-spatial environment of the school near territory, and the developed recommendations can be used in the project activity. The world around us continues to change rapidly every day. Even such a conservative environment is undergoing change as a school area. Availability of innovations, technical inventions change the perception of a traditional school yard. New trends are emerging in the design of school yards, namely their play and study areas. New design aesthetics are now emerging. The new design environment of the school’s play and recreational space defines the quality of the child’s development, engages him in physical culture and creative activity. Thus, the object-space environment performs an appropriate function - it encourages the game, forms the imagination of the growing generation. Modern play spaces of school playgrounds, being part of a citywide structure of spaces, require a special architectural and artistic solution. This decision should be conceptually meaningful, compositionally and thematically related to the specifics not only of the school building itself, but also to the peculiarities of the organization of the district and the cultural and historical traditions of the city as a whole. This defines the city’s ensemble unity and integrity. Modern objects of the object-space environment for children are designed as simple and concise. At the same time, they must have their character and artistic basis, which forms the aesthetic image and the compositional balance of the spatial system of the territory. It is important to use not only plants and landscaping elements, outdoor furniture, etc., but also to create a synthetic organic ensemble that forms both functional filling and aesthetic image, but also creates a certain ecosystem for educational and health purpose for forming the object-space environment of the school territory. Urban environments designed for the recreation of children and their parents (playgrounds, parks, school grounds) also now require new fresh design solutions, designing friendly, safe, interesting, aesthetically expressive and environmentally sound design solutions.
Дослідження є науково-обґрунтованим уявленням про особливості формування предметно-просторового середовища пришкільної території, а напрацьовані рекомендації можуть бути використані у проектній діяльності. Тематика формування середовища, а також питання озеленення та ландшафтного дизайну, опрацьовані у чималій кількості наукових розвідок, водночас, досі не розроблено чітких принципів формування предметно- просторового середовища пришкільної території. Автори намагаються ретельно дослідити та висвітлити результати у поданій публікації.
