
The article discusses the reflection of the national mentality in the works of the People's Artist of Yakutia Vasily Nazarovich Egorov-Tumarcha. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the author for the first time makes an attempt to examine the works "Proklyaty kamen" (The Cursed Stone) and "Vozvyshenie" (The Ascent) from the point of view of reflecting in them the national image of the world. The results of the research demonstrate that the writer conveys the national mentality in different aspects, such as the display of the nature of Yakutia, its national beliefs, and ethnopsychology of the Sakha people.
Статья посвящена исследованию отражения национального менталитета в творчестве народного писателя Якутии Василия Назаровича Егорова – Тумарчи. Научная новизна заключается в том, что автором впервые предпринимается попытка рассмотреть произведения «Проклятый камень» и «Возвышение» с точки зрения отражения в них национального образа мира. Полученные результаты свидетельствуют о том, что национальный менталитет передан писателем в разных аспектах. Это показ картин природы Якутии, верований и этнопсихологии народа саха.
