Educational discipline «ukrainian language for professional use»: historical and methodological approach

Abstract

The aim of the study. The article deals with the period of origin and development of one of the most important humanitarian section educational disciplines «Ukrainian language for professional use». The modern vision of the educational process changes its vector from «education as teaching» to the prospect of «education as study», where the main role is given to the student. In this context, there is obsereved the modern issue of educational tasks and objectives, the structure of each individual discipline, in particular, the Ukrainian language by professional use, the unification of its content (from the transformation of the discipline «Business Ukrainian language» (from 1993 to 2009) to the introduction of a new discipline «Ukrainian language for professional use»(from 2009 to this day). Therefore, it appears the great necessity getting new textbooks, educational and teaching manuals and especially the publication of natio-nal textbooks for medical students. Methods of research are such: descr-iptive ‑ for describing the main tasks, methods and techniques in the study process of the discipline «Ukrainian language in a professional use»; com-parison ‑ for analysis, synthesis and generalization of the main problems concerning publishing activity, as well as the processes taking place during the study of the «Ukrainian language for professional use»; methods of historical analysis ‑ the discipline is considered from the period of time from the introduction to study-plan produsing (1993) up to current time. Scientific novelty. For the first time, was made an attempt to analyze the development of the academic discipline «Ukrainian language for professi-onal use» through the prism of the publishing activity of the Department of Social Sciences and Ukrainian Studies at the Higher State Educational Establishment of Ukraine «Bukovinian State Medical University». Concl-usions. The publication of textbooks and manuals, which might be used as in study process in the classroom as for independent selfstuding, will create the necessary motivation for learning, especially allows the possible student’s mobility, what turns it into the latest educational trends.
