«Арийский миф» как фронтирный случай изобретения традиций и исторического воображения незападных национализмов

Abstract

Автор анализирует особенности генезиса и истории арийского мифа в иранском, индийском и таджикском национализме как фронтирных случаях развития национализма. Автор анализирует развитие арийского мифа во фронтирных националистических воображениях: во-первых, предполагается, что индийские националисты имели опыт использования арийского мифа, но арийская идея никогда не принадлежала к числу центральных в идеологии национализма; во-вторых, автор полагает, что иранские политические элиты, которые пытались модернизировать и вестернизировать Иран, использовали арийский миф, потому что пытались подменить мусульманские религиозные основания иранской идентичности арийскими, воображаемыми ими как более светские; в-третьих, таджикские националисты, как полагает автор статьи, смогли использовать арийский миф только после десоветизации страны и распада СССР как один из инструментов политической мобилизации для борьбы с радикальным исламским проектом.
