
The article analyzes those changes in the behavior of youth in the universities of pre-revolutionary Ukraine, which occurred both under the influence of changes in the social composition of the students, and not always by the balanced policy of the authorities. The concrete riots of the students of the University of St. Volodymyr in Kiev, Novorosiysk and Kharkiv universities, which indicate the absence in their actions of dangerous for the correct regime of trends. It is proved that the university youth saw the shortcomings of the management system, but due to radicalism it was not always justified to choose the ways for its improvement
Статья анализирует те изменения в поведении молодежи университетов дореволюционной Украины, которые происходили как под влиянием изменения социального состава студенчества, так и не всегда взвешенной политики властей. Рассмотрены конкретные выступления студентов университета св. Владимира в Киеве, Новороссийского и Харьковского университетов, которые свидетельствуют об отсутствии в их действиях опасных для правильного режима тенденций. Доказано, что университетская молодёжь видела недостатки системы управления, но в силу радикализма не всегда обоснованно выбирала пути для её усовершенствования
