
This publication presents a review of “A Textbook of Pre-Service Language and Culture Teachers’ Text Competency” by Habilitated Doctor of Pedagogy, Full Professor Nataliia Maiier, Doctor of Pedagogy, Associate Professor Olga Ustymenko, and Doctor of Pedagogy, Associate Professor Ganna Boretska. The textbook is written for Ukrainian Bachelor students majoring in specialty 014 Secondary education, specifically in 014.02 Language and literature (English and French). This review identifies the factors that determine the relevance of the textbook and reveals the structure and the content of the textbook sections.
