
The aim of the first part of the article is to present the results of research on the situation of a child in a dysfunctional family, to determine the role of the child in such a family and the consequences resulting from the lack of appropriate conditions for proper development. The second part of the article describes the role of the catechist towards a student living in a family affected by dysfunction. It points out the reason for the difficulties encountered by the catechist teaching a child from the dysfunctional family and discusses some methods of catechetical action directed at the good of this student.
