Del sótano al estadio

Abstract

Entre 1965 y 1970 los pioneros del rock en Buenos Aires se lanzaron a la búsqueda de un formato novedoso para presentar públicamente sus composiciones musicales. En este corto período, sus presentaciones en vivo asumieron formas bien variables en lo que concierne tanto a las características de la puesta en escena como a los espacios en los que dichas presentaciones tenían lugar. Veredas, bares, sótanos, sociedades de fomento, cines, teatros y estadios deportivos, ofrecían un modo distinto de volver públicas las producciones musicales al tiempo que evidenciaban la vertiginosa expansión del público. Estos cambiantes formatos, por otra parte, no sólo condicionaron las características de la puesta en escena, sino también la relación entre el público y los artistas e, incluso, el vínculo que se establecía entre los asistentes del espectáculo.
