
Abstract: Encouraging Students’ Participation in Learning. This study aims to describe the efforts to encourage students' participation in Personality Psychology course through apperception design and group activity sheet. Lesson study is carried out in four parallel classes of the course to collect the data. Each class consists of approximately 40 students. In the lesson study, a model lecturer collaborates with eight other lecturers in the process of plan, do, and see. The results show that the apperception design with the help of pictures and group activity sheet could increase students’ participation in learning within groups and in the whole class activities. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya mendorong partisipasi belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah Psikologi Kepribadian melalui desain apersepsi dan lembar aktivitas kelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode lesson study pada empat kelas paralel matakuliah Psikologi Kepribadian yang masing-masing kelas diikuti sekitar 40 mahasiswa. Dosen model berkolaborasi dengan delapan dosen lainnya dalam proses plan, do, dan see. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa desain apersepsi dengan bantuan gambar dan lembar aktivitas kelompok mampu mendorong mahasiswa untuk lebih berpartisipasi dalam proses belajar kelompok dan belajar klasikal.
